Mount Holly police are investigating the death of a UNC Charlotte student today. The body of 20-yr-old Irina Yarmolenko was found Monday afternoon in the North Carolina town, lying a few feet from her car.
At 1:15pm on Monday, police officers were called out to the Waters Edge development.

A little more than a week after the Refectory received a sanitation score of 84, a re-inspection produced a new score of 95 - and praise from both the inspector and students.
Immediate responses to the initial score included school authorities emailing students to assure everyone that actions were being taken to end problems.

The evening started with my two friends, Michael and Kyna, and I finding parking on the south side of downtown Charlotte. Our goal was to find the Historic South End Gallery Crawl, or at least some of the galleries involved. There was a trolley ferrying people around the event, but it was a much further drive to the trolley than to the galleries themselves.

For the second straight year, Davidson's croquet team brought home championship hardware as winners of the USCA Collegiate Championship in Golf Croquet held at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pa. Douglas Clark-Brown '09 and David Orsbon '09 beat out 14 other two-man teams to claim their second title together in as many years.

Over a year ago, a group of student artists gathered for lunch on a day like any other. During this habitual occurrence, the light-hearted conversation eventually led to the arts at Davidson, and the group unanimously agreed that they wanted to improve and spread the presence of the arts on campus.
